Her first job was as an model and actress. After gaining fame internationally her acting career began. She began in 1995 acting on Baywatch Nights. The voice she recorded for her work is animated versions of the film Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Harmon took the decision in early 2000s to only work in films and stopped performing for TV series.
