Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as a singer in the The rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in the film and television series such as How to Be a Single and the show Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. Taylor Momsen was a student at the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. Her first professional role was in a Shake and Bake commercial that aired nationally at age three. Momsen's acting career came and went with abruptly end in the span of 3 years. She then received the role as the main role in the film Misconceptions which airs on WB. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. She was also among the top 3 for Hannah Montana, but Miley was chosen for the part.
